Location - Based in Bangalore

- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of all
products, materials, and supplies. Implement inventory control best practices to
prevent stockouts and overstock situations. - Procurement and Replenishment: Collaborate with purchasing teams to ensure
timely procurement of materials and products as per demand forecasts. Determine
reorder points and quantities based on historical data and market trends. - Data Analysis: Regularly analyze inventory data to identify trends, demand
patterns, and slow-moving items. Generate reports and insights to support informed
decision-making. - Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to
ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical
counts and system records. - Warehousing and Storage: Organize and optimize warehouse space to facilitate
efficient storage and retrieval of items. Implement proper shelving, labeling, and
organization systems. - Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
logistics, sales, and production, to align inventory levels with operational needs.
Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and ensure consistent supply.
Obsolete and Excess Inventory Management: Identify and manage obsolete or
excess inventory. Implement strategies to minimize write-offs and disposal costs. - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date inventory records using
inventory management software. Ensure accurate documentation of receiving,
storage, and distribution activities. - Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve inventory management
processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Propose and
implement process enhancements as needed. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
related to inventory management, storage, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Any Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and supply chain principles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
