Who We Are

Overflow is a Series B Silicon Valley technology company with a bold mission: to inspire the world to give. We are a B2B SaaS philanthropy platform that enables modern giving across cash, stock, and crypto for nonprofits, churches, and mission-driven organizations.

Backed by leading investors including Uncork Capital, Craft Ventures, and Village Global, Overflow builds secure, beautifully designed infrastructure that powers generosity at scale.

Our Founding Principles

Overflow was founded on the belief that generosity transforms people and communities. Inspired by Proverbs 11:24 — “The world of the generous gets larger and larger” — we operate with integrity, stewardship, service, and excellence.

How We Work

Overflow operates with a flexible work model. While there is no company-wide in-office requirement, some teams may establish in-person collaboration rhythms based on their function, goals, and team needs.

We maintain offices in Los Gatos, CA and Birmingham, AL for team collaboration, coworking, meetings, and intentional in-person connection. Candidates should be comfortable participating in occasional in-person gatherings or team-specific onsite expectations, depending on their role and department.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and support Overflow’s payment operations across cash and non-cash giving workflows, including stock donations, payment processing, reconciliation, and transaction support

  • Analyze payment activity, operational trends, and risk indicators to identify issues, improve processes, and reduce operational friction

  • Review merchant and client applications, validate documentation, and support Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) verification processes

  • Monitor transaction activity for fraud, chargebacks, returns, and other payment-related risks while escalating complex issues as needed

  • Investigate payment discrepancies, operational issues, and transaction anomalies to identify root causes and drive resolution

  • Support underwriting and risk review processes by analyzing financial information, business models, transaction behavior, and exposure levels

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations teams to improve payment workflows and internal systems

  • Assist in scoping operational improvements, documenting requirements, and supporting testing for new tooling and automation initiatives

  • Track operational KPIs including approval rates, chargeback ratios, payment declines, processing trends, and risk-related metrics

  • Support the end-to-end stock donation process including transfer coordination, liquidation tracking, payout allocation, and operational compliance

  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements

What You Should Have

  • 1–4 years of experience in payment operations, risk analysis, fraud operations, fintech operations, financial operations, or related fields

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and make sound judgment-based decisions

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Comfort working with operational systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and payment platforms

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining operational accuracy and accountability

  • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and process-oriented thinking

  • Alignment with Overflow’s mission, values, and commitment to operational excellence

It’d Be Nice If You Had

Our Compensation Philosophy

Overflow’s compensation philosophy is rooted in Carta Total Compensation benchmarks, ensuring pay that is competitive by role, geography, and function. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and market data.

Total compensation may also include equity, performance-based bonuses (for eligible roles), and a comprehensive benefits package. As a Series B company, we believe equity is a meaningful part of building long-term ownership—when Overflow wins, our team should share in that upside.
