Role Overview

We are looking for an International Media Co-ordinator to support the planning, coordination, and optimisation of paid media across our international markets – with a primary focus on EMEA (UK, DE, ME) and Japan – and to partner closely with our agencies and retail teams.

This is a co-ordinatorlevel role that will:

  • Manage the daytoday media strategy and execution for existing Tier 1 markets, across OOH, TV, digital (paid social, search, influencers, programmatic), and retail media.
  • Act as the daytoday contact for our agencies and key internal stakeholders, driving the media process from brief through to optimisation and wrap.
  • Ensure our existing Tier 1 markets continue to grow in awareness and sales, with a focus on both brand and performance campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Planning & Coordination

  • Translate business and brand objectives into clear media briefs for UK, DE, JP, ME. - Support with the development of marketspecific media strategies and plans, working closely with external agency partners and internal departments including retail marketing and creative.
  • Ensure plans balance global frameworks with local market realities, particularly across EMEA.
  • Collaborate closely with our in-house specialists on channel specific strategies and optimisations.

Campaign Management & Approvals

  • Support the endtoend media planning process for Tier 1 markets managing timelines, running structured feedback cycles, and delivering best in class plans. - Partner with the Senior Manager, International Media on final approvals and strategic tradeoffs across markets and channels.
  • Oversee incampaign optimisation and identify opportunities to shift budget, creative or targeting.

Retail & Partner Media Leadership

  • Work closely with the Retail team to
    • Shape retailerled media strategies and ensure they complement Oura‑branded media.
    • Align messaging, timing, and investment between Oura channels and retail partners in EMEA and JP.
  • Assess and recommend retail media and retail OOH opportunities in priority markets, based on performance potential and brand fit.

Innovation, Testing & Inbound Opportunities

  • Help build and maintain an innovation and testing roadmap for Tier 1 markets:
    • Identify opportunities across OOH specials, podcasts, influencers, sponsorships, and new formats.
    • Prioritise tests based on expected impact, feasibility, and alignment with broader strategy.
  • Manage the evaluation of inbound opportunities:
    • Screen and qualify proposals (channels, formats, influencers, publishers).
    • Make clear recommendations on where to invest vs pass, with supporting rationale.
  • Capture and share test learnings and best practices across markets to inform future planning.

Reporting, Budget Management & Governance

  • Manage budget pacing and tracking for existing Tier 1 markets
    • Own budget trackers by market, and campaign.
    • Reconcile planned vs actual spend with agencies and Finance.
  • Lead the creation of succinct performance summaries and insights for:
    • Marketing leadership.
    • Retail and commercial stakeholders.
    • Regional and global media partners.
  • Help ensure strong governance across markets:
    • Maintain clear documentation of briefs, plans, approvals, and post‑campaign reviews.
    • Support consistent frameworks for KPIs, reporting, and optimisation.

Ways of Working

  • Provide day‑to‑day support on Tier 1 international markets, with a focus on helping drive sustained growth through deeper analysis and follow‑through.
  • Help keep priorities, timelines, and deliverables organised for agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Surface risks, bottlenecks, and questions early so they can be addressed by the Senior Manager or relevant leads.
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Senior Manager, International Media – to understand strategy, support prioritisation, and prepare inputs for final sign‑off.
    • Global media / growth teams – to help connect local execution and reporting to global campaigns and assets.
    • Cross‑functional partners (Retail, Brand, Product Marketing, Regional teams) – to gather inputs, share updates, and support coordinated execution.

Skills & Experience

Must‑haves

  • 5 years of media planning/buying experience in ideally both a media agency and in‑house media team.
  • Proven international media experience is mandatory, with:
    • Hands‑on planning and execution across multiple EMEA markets (especially UK and DE).
    • Experience coordinating or activating in at least one of UAE/KSA and/or other priority EMEA markets.
  • Strong understanding of multi‑channel media:
    • Digital (paid social, search, programmatic, influencers).
    • OOH and TV / video.
  • Familiarity with retail media or trade‑driving activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to own market‑level strategy and plans, not just support tasks:
    • Comfortable challenging and shaping agency proposals.
    • Able to prioritise trade‑offs across channels and partners.
  • Excellent project management and organisation:
    • Confident managing multiple markets, campaigns, and stakeholders at once.
    • Skilled at keeping trackers, timelines, and documentation tight.
  • Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills – able to interpret performance data, identify issues/opportunities, and translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Clear, concise communication skills:
    • Can turn complex inputs into simple, structured guidance for agencies and stakeholders.
    • Comfortable presenting recommendations and rationale.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and able to adapt plans quickly as priorities shift.

Nice‑to‑haves

  • Experience with Japan or APAC markets in addition to EMEA.
  • Direct experience working on retail media or with major retailers/marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, key regional partners).
  • Experience in influencer/creator‑led media and social‑first campaigns.
  • Passion for health, wellness, or consumer tech brands.
