Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We are seeking a highly strategic, data-driven, and growth-minded leader to serve as the Director, D2C Growth & Innovation, Americas. This person will be responsible for driving the performance and evolution of Oura’s direct-to-consumer business across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, overseeing the strategy, insights, and initiatives that power conversion, revenue, and lifetime value across our growing portfolio of products.
You will partner closely with leaders across commerce, marketing channels, finance, analytics, and operations to shape the future of how consumers discover, purchase, and engage with Oura. This leader will be equally comfortable setting business strategy at the executive level, diving deep into data to uncover insights that inform growth decisions, and working hands-on with teams to execute.
Success requires exceptional analytical curiosity, strong commercial judgment, and a bias for action. You will connect the dots between consumer behavior, product mix, and purchase drivers, transforming insights into scalable growth strategies that deliver exceptional purchaser experiences and high value to Oura.
We have offices in San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.
What you will do:
- Shape D2C growth strategy: Define and evolve Oura’s direct-to-consumer growth strategy across channels, geographies, and product lines, balancing immediate impact with long-term sustainability.
- Drive consumer and purchase insights: Partner with analytics and data teams to deeply understand consumer behavior and purchasing patterns, surfacing insights to guide smart business decisions.
- Inform business decisions through data: Develop and communicate actionable insights about what drives performance, translating findings into recommendations that influence merchandising, web flows, and go-to-market priorities.
- Operationalize growth initiatives: Translate strategic objectives into clear programs and actions, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution across marketing, product, and operations.
- Expand multi-product growth: Shape strategies that accelerate adoption and repurchase as Oura expands to multiple products, driving repeat purchasing, upgrades, and attach opportunities across categories.
- Forecast and measure performance: Build frameworks for tracking and reporting key business metrics and use these insights to guide strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration: Partner across Commerce Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Supply & Demand Planning, and more to ensure business objectives are met with clarity, speed, and measurable impact.
- Influence at the highest levels: Act as a visible leader across Oura, shaping D2C strategy and growth priorities in partnership with executive stakeholders.
We would love to consider you for this role if you have:
- 12+ years of experience in D2C leadership roles within high-growth consumer, health, or technology environments.
- Proven ability to translate consumer insights and behavioral data into actionable business strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
- Deep analytical fluency, experienced in cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and understanding how product mix and purchase behavior impact business outcomes.
- Experience developing strategies that increase AOV, attach rates, and repeat purchases through product, pricing, and bundling innovation.
- Strong cross-functional influence, with demonstrated success partnering across Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Finance to achieve shared goals.
- Skilled at defining metrics, building frameworks for forecasting and measurement, and communicating insights that drive action.
- Track record of scaling D2C or e-commerce businesses through data-informed experimentation, personalization, and consumer journey optimization.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings clarity in complex, cross-functional situations.
- Excellent communicator and storyteller, capable of distilling complex data and business context for executives and boards.
