We're hiring a Platform Manager, PLM, to serve as the Architect, Technical Specialist and a Guardian of our PLM environment. You are the expert responsible for ensuring our Product Data Management (PDM) and related ECM/IT systems are not only technically resilient and high-performing, but are fully aligned with our people and critical processes. You will proactively study, drive, and execute key initiatives into reliable system solutions that accelerate our entire product lifecycle. Your core value lies in your deep understanding of PLM governance complexity and your ability to effectively translate and communicate that necessity to the business.

You will lead/execute the architectural design, continuous development, and maintenance of the PLM environment. This includes optimizing data models (e.g., product structure, variant management) and enhancing core functionality to maximize organizational efficiency, quality, and security. You also interface with external system vendors and consultants to ensure system compatibility and adequate support.

As the internal technical authority, you will own the system’s functionality and the integrity of critical integrations with MCAD, ECAD, and ERP. You are responsible for Release Management, meticulously planning deployments to ensure zero disruption to product development timelines, and managing expert level support together with the system vendor.

Your success hinges on the quality of data flow and collaboration. You will work intensely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Business Systems teams to define configuration needs, driving User Experience (UX) optimization and ensuring maximum data compliance and adoption across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Execute the PLM roadmap, ensuring the systems support the entire product lifecycle, from CAD/ECAD creation through MBOM release.
  • Drive the continuous development of the PLM environment and related IT tools.
  • Serve as the internal technical authority, owning the system's functionality and resilience.
  • Ensure the integrity of critical integrations with enterprise systems, including MCAD, ECAD, and ERP.
  • Lead Release Management, meticulously planning deployments of patches and new features.
  • Define and enforce standards for data security and access control.
  • Manage efficient Tier1-Tier 3 support with the system vendor
  • Conduct proactive vendor management to optimize support and system compatibility
  • Provide high-quality User Support for the PLM platform, acting as the primary point of contact for functional and technical queries.
  • Evaluate and execute process development and alignment initiatives for PDM and ECM

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Deep Proficiency in PLM systems: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of a PLM software, Siemens Teamcenter preferred

Understanding of migration strategies, testing, and system upgrade management.Familiarity with PLM backend database concepts (e.g., SQL) sufficient for troubleshooting and performance monitoring

  • Practical experience in configuring and developing Jira to manage product development tasks and issues.

Experience in working with vendors to optimize support, and ensure system compatibility and performance standards are met.Proven experience in providing high-quality User Support and driving User Experience (UX) optimization for key power users.Experience on IT system studies and executing digitalization projects

  • Demonstrated technical skill in managing and troubleshooting integrations with MCAD/ECAD systems (e.g., Altium, NX, Solidworks preferred).
  • Advanced analytical skills for efficiently diagnosing and resolving complex technical and functional issues

The ability to create and present technical strategies to business stakeholders and senior management.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with highly technical teams (Engineering) and operations-focused teams (Manufacturing/CMs) to gather requirements and drive consensus.

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $142,000- $214,000
  • Region 2 $130,000- $196,000
  • Region 3 $120,000- $180,000
