As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Staff Hardware Technical Project Manager to join our Program Management organisation. This role will be integral in ensuring the successful execution of hardware projects across various stages of development.

Preferred location is Oulu, this role requires in-office collaboration with the team in Oulu as well as occasional trips to offices in the US. Other global travel to contract manufacturers is expected, frequency will depend on Hardware project schedules and build schedules.

What You will do:

  • Lead and manage hardware projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with other project and program managers across the company.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress against milestones and addressing any questions or issues that arise.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders while ensuring open lines of communication.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, creating contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
  • Utilize project management tools like Jira and SmartSheet to maintain clear documentation and reporting on project status.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment, promoting best practices and supporting team members in their contributions.

We would love to have You on our team if you have:

  • 8-12+ years of experience in project management, specifically in hardware development.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects successfully from concept to launch
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Confluence, Jira and SmartSheet
  • Adept at problem-solving and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for health technology and eagerness to contribute to Oura's mission.
