We are looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our hardware team working on future wearables and accessory devices reporting directly to the VP of Hardware. This opportunity will be hybrid to either San Diego or San Francisco.
What You will do:
- Electrical Design and development of cutting-edge wearable and other consumer devices, with a keen focus to detail, precision, and reliability. This includes electrical architecture, schematic design, and integration into PCBs, flexes, and other new technologies as required.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop test plans.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components within the product's physical design. Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop embedded systems and ensure software-hardware compatibility.
- Work with leadership to help define and refine product roadmaps and timelines
