About Needed:
Needed is a leading DTC nutrition company recommended by 4,000+ women’s health experts. We’re on a mission to provide radically better nutrition for women, starting with the perinatal (before, during, and after pregnancy) stage of life. Since launching the most complete prenatal multivitamin on the market in 2021, we’ve grown rapidly and cost effectively through practitioner referrals, new product introductions, and best-in-class operating metrics. We are women-founded, well-funded, and backed by leading impact and women’s health investors.
Why a Logistics Coordinator is Needed:
Needed has rapidly grown to become a leading science-backed women’s health brand. Achieving ongoing growth necessitates significant operational scaling. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support our supply chain operations team across a myriad of tasks, helping to ensure that Needed operations run as smoothly as possible and that more senior team member time is spent as efficiently as possible. This is an incredible opportunity for someone more junior in their career who is eager to learn by being part of a fast-growing start-up and diving deep into the supplement industry supply chain, logistics, and distribution.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will:
Join our operations team, reporting to our Director of Operations, and primarily support distribution and fulfillment operations in reporting, developing, and executing the most efficient way of moving goods while improving service, quality, and operation costs nationwide and internationally. You will be a pivotal bridge between our warehouse, e-commerce, and customer service teams to support our overall business objectives. You will also have opportunities to support other team areas, including manufacturing, operations, logistics, planning, and product commercialization functions.
- Implement and evaluate processes for warehouse and distribution transfers to hit KPI targets
- Schedule/track/monitor carriers to ensure they have capacity and loads planned
- Support day-to-day order management and management of deliveries to meet critical deadlines

- Tackle various operational tasks, including assisting and tracking incoming inventory delivery and product logistics
- Fulfilling daily operational requests from Customer Experience and Marketing such as troubleshooting of orders needing attention or working with warehouse on special pack-out instructions for VIP shipments
- Supporting the Director of Operations with ongoing projects and analysis
- Interact and build positive relations with internal and external partners and assisting in 3PL, vendor, and wholesale partner management
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Assisting in data entry and ensuring accuracy and consistency across tools, databases, and reports
- Managing the claims and processing of all small parcel fulfillment claims
- Contribute to process and operational improvements as they pertain to your work areas
Who You Are:
- BS/BA from a top university
- 1+ years experience in retail/operations, preferably in early-stage startups in DTC and/or e-commerce spaces. (We are open to this being a first job out of college with the right internship/academic experience.)
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes with a “no task is too small” mentality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment
