Moon Juice is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Senior Director of Amazon to lead our Amazon channel in developing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability for the brand.

Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Director of Amazon will lead, drive and manage the Amazon sales channel. We are searching for a motivated team player to develop our Amazon business that will drive incremental sales and hypergrowth with an omnichannel approach. This position requires strong analytical thinking, multi-tasking and a self-starter personality. In addition, we are seeking a leader who is hands-on and inquisitive; and an Amazon expert who can champion sales growth while providing critical insights to leadership through a willingness to learn, improve and execute new initiatives by always being curious. Successful candidates will lead the development of the Amazon sales channel in collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Creative and Customer Experience functions to develop sustainable growth strategies.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the Senior Director of Amazon must be a positive cultural leader who exhibits confidence balanced with humility and a growth mindset. This person is inclusive, collaborative, and transparent and will build strong relationships at all levels, internally and externally. Excellent communication skills and empathy are a must, and this person enjoys mentoring team members across all functions and levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Amazon P&L
• Develop and achieve both short and long-term Amazon strategies
• Deliver consumption and sales growth targets for Amazon portfolio
• Introduce, manage, and execute product assortment and architecture on Amazon
• Responsible for entire sales product lifecycle - item setup, sell-through, forecasting, in-stock, and pricing
• Manage, maintain, and audit content on Amazon platform
• Develop and execute plan for new product launches
• Build and manage the Amazon team including external agencies
• Lead strategy and day-to-day execution of paid advertising
• Create and manage the company’s paid advertising budget to optimal ROI levels
• Lead paid media to manage pay-per-click and DSP advertising campaigns inside and outside Amazon
• Highly analytical review of weekly ad spend performance and detailed spend optimization
• Establish, track, and consistently meet KPI targets including sales, ROAS, and conversion rates
• Use a data-driven approach to making decisions to optimize PPC, DSP and organic sales
• Act as the primary contact between our marketplace partner and the company

Core Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of Amazon experience in CPG
• Experience in Health & Wellness or Nutritional Supplements preferred
• Subject matter expert in Amazon paid advertising
• Strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable with doing work in the trenches while still maintaining a strategic perspective
• Gritty, known for rolling up your sleeves to get it done
• Strong understanding of Amazon specific business practices and consumer behavior, vendor management and project management
• Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills with the ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
• Experience with Amazon syndicated data
• Team player
