Maven is looking for a VP, Health Plan Partnerships who will be responsible for the overall general management of our premier payer channel relationships, focusing on growth and profitability. This role will involve strategic planning, business development, and operational oversight to ensure the channel's success. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in P&L ownership and oversight, growth leadership and channel partnerships along with a strong background in healthcare and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the national payer channel.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the channel's reach and profitability.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align channel strategies with overall company goals.
  2. Channel Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of the national payer channel, including relationship management, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to payer partners.
    • Manage and optimize the channel's operational processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Financial Oversight:
    • Assume full P&L ownership and oversight for the national payer channel.
    • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Build and lead a high-performing team to support channel growth and success.
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Executive leadership.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for payer partners, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on payer relationships and channel management.
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and oversight, with demonstrated success in driving growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technology and its impact on payer relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
