Kosas is seeking a Director, Digital Content. In this role, you will concept + produce global digital assets (primarily video) in partnership with the founder + creative team, optimized for ecommerce, paid and organic social. You must have a proven track record of taking video projects from creative concept to final delivery for successful social media channels, on both Instagram and TikTok. Experience in and passion for beauty is a must!
How You’ll Contribute
- Collaborate closely with founder and brand creative team to drive ideation and execution of new launch, promo + evergreen digital assets, with a focus on video and storytelling “vignettes” that are optimized mobile-first for ecomm and social channels
- Create digital content concepts, develop and execute through production based on marketing/business objectives, always with a lens to brand and product storytelling that engages, educates and entertains the consumer
- Ensure brand consistency and cohesion throughout all execution, with consideration of global vs local market needs
- Direct and produce in-house content across photography and video to support social initiatives, including identification + management of internal, freelance and UGC content creators
- Direct social-first video content on campaign shoots; edit final assets
- Develop global visual standards/codes for social media (including art direction, casting, graphics + typography), distinguishing between channels, brand-owned and UGC assets
- Manage creative workflows with x-functional teams for optimal efficiency and effectiveness
Who you Are
- Ability to lead, manage and communicate x-functionally throughout the entire creative lifecycle. Communicative and collaborative team player
- Passion for being ahead of the curve + bringing fresh ideas that drive customer engagement in digital/social channels
- Obsessed with trends in beauty and social with ability to turn them quickly into brand-right, high performance digital creative
- Ability to balance business goals with creative vision
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with lean resources; strong network of freelance support to tap into as needed
- Agile self-starter with excellent time + project management skills
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Design, Fine arts or similar degree)
- 5-8 years of direct digital design and art direction experience on set, with hands-on experience in video and within the beauty space
- Track record of effectively leading and directing teams on set, including photographers, videographers, stylists and makeup artists
- Experienced in UGC production + best practices
- Strong knowledge of digital/social best practices, technical constraints and channel formats
- Strong vIdeo editing capabilities required
- Well-versed in Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
- Expertise in creating high-performing video content for ecommerce, organic and paid social. Strong IG reels and TikTok experience required; Youtube + CTV a plus

The range of base salary for this full-time position is between $120,000 - $150,000 per year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skillset, education, and work location.
