The Manager, Product Marketing, will help develop and implement Kosas’ global product portfolio, innovation pipeline and product marketing strategy to drive the brand’s growth and market share.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Support Sr Director by gathering and analyzing data to make recommendations for Kosas’ product portfolio, including consumer insights, sales data, comprehensive competitive analysis and input from retailers and markets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of marketing briefs for all new products and sampling, clearly communicating project details and objectives to all cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and brief promotional product programming (sets, GWPs, etc) to help support the needs of the sales channels.
  • Manage Annual Sampling plan with input from retail marketing team to drive recruitment and innovation.
  • Anticipate, identify and seek resolution of developmental and operational issues throughout the product launch process.
  • Prepare pricing analyses and provide SRP recommendations for portfolio architecture, new launches and limited-edition product pricing.
  • Manage cost of goods for launch programs and make cost savings recommendations.
  • Support presentation development for key internal and external product marketing meetings, including monthly leadership alignment.
  • Work with sales and demand planning to prepare volume opportunity estimates and drive global forecasts.
  • Prepare timely communications for retailers and markets including product launch calendars, pricing, positioning, strategies and support.
  • Communicate new product messaging, claims development and educational support (sell sheets, etc) to stakeholders.
  • Work with retailers and markets to ensure product strategies and objectives are being met.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Product development marketing preferably within prestige beauty industry, in both makeup and skincare, leading the process end to end
  • Experience with Gift with Purchase, Promotions and Gift Sets
  • Packaging knowledge and manufacturing understanding (both basic and promotional product)
  • Product development knowledge, including process, lead times and systems
  • Regulatory (Global) knowledge, including claims
  • Strong customer understanding, with an eye to innovation and future trends
  • Advanced Excel skills

Logistics

  • Based in LA
  • Travel locally + internationally based on needs of the business

The range of base salary for this full-time position is between $85,000 - $125,000 per year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skillset, education, and work location.
