Role:

We’re looking for a Lifecycle Copywriter to join our rapidly growing consumer health tech startup on the Brand/Creative team. The Lifecycle Copywriter crafts clear, concise, and action-driven messaging across email, push, and SMS channels. They ensure every message—from onboarding flows to renewal reminders—is optimized for engagement, balancing urgency, personalization, and Function’s authoritative tone. Their work focuses on keeping communications informative yet compelling, making every interaction feel intentional and valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafts clear, concise, and action-driven messaging across email, push, and SMS channels.
  • Ensure every message—from onboarding flows to renewal reminders—is optimized for engagement, balancing urgency, personalization, and Function’s authoritative tone.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, creative leadership, and other stakeholders across the business to deliver world-class, high-craft creative work that delivers on Function’s mission and brand.
  • Ensure messaging reflects brand voice and values consistently across all lifecycle touch-points.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience at agencies and/or high-craft brands. Experience ideally at a high-growth DTC or health-tech company is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, Creative Writing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience working in Figma.
  • Strong collaboration skills — able to work cross-functionally with growth, design, product, and data teams to bring messaging to life.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, and deadlines.
