Role:
FunctionHealth is on the hunt for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in upholding the excellence and dependability of our cutting-edge healthcare solutions. As we transition towards AI-driven personalized health management, your expertise as a Quality Assurance Engineer will be crucial in shaping the future of our sophisticated health technology systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Test Plan Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with FunctionHealth's software solutions, functional requirements, and user expectations.
- Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing to assess the functionality, usability, and performance of healthcare applications, identifying defects and providing detailed reports to facilitate effective issue resolution.
- Automation Testing: Lead in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, enhancing testing efficiency and integrating automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline in close coordination with development teams.
- Regression Testing: Carry out thorough regression testing to confirm changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities, ensuring new features integrate seamlessly without compromising system stability.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Engage with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deeply understand system requirements and functionalities, actively participating in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records by documenting test cases, results, and relevant information, contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Expertise: 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry, and hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- QA Methodologies Expertise: Possesses a robust understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring comprehensive coverage and quality assurance across all phases of development.
- Testing Tools Proficiency: Demonstrates experience with a variety of manual and automated testing tools and frameworks, equipped to assess and enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of complex healthcare applications.
- Python Proficiency: Skilled in using Python for scripting and test automation, enhancing testing efficiency and accuracy.
- CI/CD Integration: Experienced in integrating and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline development and testing processes.
- Mobile Testing Expertise: Proficient in testing mobile applications across various platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance on all devices.
- API Testing Skills: Capable of designing and executing comprehensive API tests to verify the reliability, performance, and security of backend services.
- QA Documentation: Able to produce clear and detailed QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports, to support development and quality assurance processes.
- Language: English proficiency.
