The Role

We are seeking a talented Brand Designer to help bring our mission to life. You will play a crucial role in developing creative solutions that enhance our brand’s visibility and engage our community globally. Through your work, you will shape how Function Health is perceived and interacts with the world.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous in their attention to detail, self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative solutions to enhance our brand’s visibility across our website, social media, and events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design, and Growth teams to execute campaigns promoting new products and features and stories.
  • Maintain and evolve our visual and brand identity, ensuring consistency and high-quality design outputs.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Portfolio Requirements: Demonstrates a robust portfolio with brand design expertise across multiple channels, including significant work on social media platforms.
  • Design Mastery: Excels in typography, color theory, layout, and composition, with proven ability to adapt these skills to both digital and physical mediums.
  • Innovative Thinking: Pioneers forward-thinking design strategies and employs cutting-edge tools, including AI, to push the boundaries of what is possible in brand design.
  • Communication and Storytelling: Effectively communicates design concepts, enhancing our brand's storytelling through visual and verbal presentations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in using Figma, with a strong understanding of atomic design principles to create modular and scalable design systems. Adaptable to new technologies and tools that enhance design workflows.
  • Trend Awareness: Stays current with design and social media trends, continually innovating to keep our differentiated brand modern and relevant.
  • Project Management: Is self-motivated, manages multiple projects efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Motion design capabilities using AE or other emerging tools.
  • 3D — Although not frequently utilized, extending into 3D can be the most effective method to communicate certain ideas. Proficiency in Cinema 4D or other 3D software will significantly enhance your candidacy.
  • Start-Up Experience: We highly value individuals with start-up experience, especially former founders or early hires. This experience indicates a versatile skill set and an ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
