What You Will Do:

  • Operational Excellence: Lead and oversee aspects of kitchen operations, including food processing, preparation, and quality control. Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and regulations.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the kitchen team. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in both English and Spanish, you will facilitate seamless communication within the diverse team.
  • Reporting: Regularly report to the Directors and Culinary Managers on kitchen performance, including food quality, production efficiency, and safety compliance.
  • Food Safety: Maintain an expert-level understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Implement and enforce strict food safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory efficiently, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs in line with budgetary constraints. Implement effective purchasing and procurement strategies.
  • Training: Provide ongoing training and development to kitchen staff, ensuring they are well-versed in food safety practices and culinary techniques.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role.
  • Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication within our diverse team.
  • Food Expertise: Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
