Position Overview

The Club Region Sales Director will leverage strategy, club customer knowledge, existing category manager relationships, and strong financial acumen to build upon our strong start in the club channel. Your leadership will ensure that the club channel becomes a meaningful growth vertical in our 2025 roadmap and well beyond! In addition to direct customer management responsibilities, you will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including the exec team, finance, commercialization, supply and customer service, and marketing teams to ensure that we deliver on internal and external expectations.

What you’ll do:

Strategy & Activation

  • Architect channel strategy for the Club channel including internal 3 year roadmap setting, development of winning commercialization efforts, and internal resource alignment
  • Execute the plan with strong results externally, including co-developing promotional and marketing tactics with our marketing team (demos, influencers, etc.) to ensure we deliver on club velocity expectations
  • Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape including assortment, promotional effectiveness, and evolving retailer capabilities to keep Daily Harvest on the leading edge of growth.
  • Leverage your experience and relationships to identify uncovered opportunities for growth, anticipate and overcome any customer issues

Brand & Business Planning

  • Use strong financial acumen to ensure we deliver on Daily Harvest’s sales and profit targets while aligning with the club channel customer and consumer financial metrics
  • Develop KPIs, analyze the performance of sales efforts, provide insights to executive and cross-functional teams and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure close alignment with other sales channels and strategic finance to ensure strong price pack architecture principles are help across our portfolio
  • Provide strong demand signals with clear timing expectations to deliver best-in-class club OTIF results

Commercialization

  • Ensure current club channel commercialization efforts (category extensions, renovations, packaging efforts and segment innovation) are grounded in relevant category + consumer insight and are aligned with customer requirements and category opportunities
  • Partner with the culinary team to drive product pipeline development and implementation on most relevant and significant business opportunities in our future roadmap
  • Deliver on all new commercialization KPIs, including delivering club region or pallet counts aligned upon in the Stage Gate process

Leadership

  • Champion the club channel internally at Daily Harvest to ensure the appropriate level of internal support to meet your KPIs
  • Work closely with all cross-functional stakeholders including our strategic finance, operations, customer service, marketing and executive teams

Who you are:

  • Someone with 10+ years of CPG experience required and existing relationships in the club channel
  • Interpreter of key customer needs and clear internal communicator to guide what is required to be a trusted partner at Costco, Sam’s, and BJ’s Wholesale.
  • Proven business owner with a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and develop insights and action plans.
  • Everyone’s favorite cross-functional partner, able to collaborate internally with key functions to deliver both internal and external needs

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
