Role introduction:

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role across the entire product development lifecycle. From initial research and ideation to final delivery and continuous refinement, you will be a driving force behind our design vision, focused on designing and improving our therapist and patient experiences. Your contribution will encompass a rich blend of design-thinking methodology, a thoughtful human-centered design approach, and a wealth of UX design expertise.

Reports to: Senior Design Manager.

Location: Remote in the United States or hybrid in our NYC or San Francisco offices.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Work across our range of products, from web-based applications to mobile apps
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate product functionality and user interaction
  • Contribute to the overall creative strategy and vision (both “what should we build” and “how it should look”)
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that designs are technically feasible and aligned with product goals
  • Work within a cross-functional team to validate both low and hi-fidelity prototypes using feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Confidently communicate design concepts through a variety of mediums, including sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, or animations
  • Conduct user research and interviews, and share insights with various stakeholders and integrate into design decisions through insight decks, user journeys, personas, design principles and strategic roadmaps and product features
  • Contribute to the development of design systems and maintain design libraries to ensure consistency across products
  • Help defining the design team, processes, and operations you always wanted

Candidate profile:

  • 4+ years of experience in product design/UX, (or equivalent experience)
  • A versatile portfolio that showcases your problem-solving skills, that highlights strong experience designing across products, platforms and personas
  • Experience in designing, building and shipping quality mobile and web platforms in the healthcare or mental health space, preferably with clinical operations and care innovation experiences
  • Experience in interaction and visual design and prototyping
  • A strong passion for enhancing processes and workflows continuously
  • Proficiency with using Figma and Figjam as a primary design tools
  • Experience running user interviews and testing various prototypes with users
  • Strong analytical, project management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and in cross-functional teams under uncertainty in an entrepreneurial and rapid growth-oriented environment
  • Strong alignment with core company mission and values
  • Experience working with design systems and are able to identify and extend shared patterns and behaviours
  • Experience with Development handoff tool Zerohight highly preferable

Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work and any role at COMPASS, regardless of the location, is eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and equity.
