About the Role

As the People Operations Specialist, you will help ensure that the day-to-day operations of the People Team are organized, thoughtful, and running efficiently. This role will play a key part in supporting and improving the infrastructure, processes, and operational systems that help create a strong employee experience across the organization.

You will support a broad range of People Operations responsibilities, including onboarding support, policy and process coordination, employee relations support, documentation management, and cross-functional project execution. This person will also help create greater operational consistency across the People function by improving workflows, organizing resources, centralizing documentation, and identifying opportunities to optimize processes and systems.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while bringing structure and clarity to fast-moving environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain a strong understanding of People policies, practices, and processes to support employees and managers accurately and consistently

  • Assist with employee relations coordination and documentation, including helping maintain organized records, tracking follow-up items, and supporting thoughtful and compliant processes

  • Help review, maintain, and organize People policies, internal documentation, and operational processes to ensure materials remain current, accessible, and easy to navigate

  • Partner with the People team to create and maintain a centralized and organized approach to People documentation, files, templates, resources, and process guides

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, streamline operational processes, and create greater efficiency across the employee lifecycle

  • Support People Operations projects and initiatives through strong project management, coordination, communication, and follow-through

  • Create and maintain documentation outlining processes, FAQs, best practices, and procedures within company's knowledge-sharing tools such as Notion

  • Assist with audits and operational reviews to help ensure accuracy, organization, compliance, and data integrity across employee records and People processes

  • Support reporting, project tracking, and operational requests for People leadership as needed

  • Assist with HR systems and operational processes when needed, including supporting updates, troubleshooting coordination, and maintaining accurate employee information

  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as IT, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to support operational processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding coordination

  • Support onboarding activities, including coordination of onboarding tasks, new hire communications, document collection, and partnering with hiring managers to help ensure a smooth employee experience

  • Provide high-touch employee support by monitoring and responding to employee questions, escalating concerns appropriately, and helping connect team members with the right resources and guidance

  • Support additional People Operations initiatives and special projects as needed

  • Comfortable learning and utilizing HR and operational systems and tools as needed

  • Experience in a People Operations, HR Operations, HR Coordinator, or similar operationally focused role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth environment

The salary for this role is: $40 - $45/hr
