Bumble’s Payments team is growing! The Bumble Payments team’s mission is to provide a world-class payments infrastructure and offer our customers the very best payment experience.

We partner closely with Product, Tech, Legal, Finance and our external payment partners to provide the global payments service that enables our customers and creators to pay and be paid respectively.

Payments are at the heart of our product, moving at a fast-pace, Bumble is looking for a person who can match the enthusiasm of the business to continuously iterate, optimise & solve issues for our users. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced ecommerce leader who is adept at understanding user payment triggers and has real passion for payments as a whole. The ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and data & analytics tools.

Reporting to the Director of Payments, you will play a key role in devising and delivering our central payments strategy ensuring optimal payments experiences & payment success for our Customers. You will work closely with the wider Payments team to determine effective payments insights that help inform Business decisions and identify issues and opportunities.

As the Payments Paywall Product Manager, you will be primarily responsible - in partnership with our Payments Project Managers & Development Leads - for articulating and activating tech vision for our group Paywall platform. Turning strategy into actionable roadmaps, and prioritising and supporting the development process with the overall goal of producing simple, scalable & secure checkout experiences for our Customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and execute against payments journey/experience specific roadmaps, ensuring Bumble builds a solid paywall platform for the future while delivering meaningful impact to our users as quickly as possible.

  • Propose and deliver projects and initiatives to maximise conversion & payer satisfaction.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and store regulatory changes to identify and validate future requirements and opportunities.

  • Independently manage internal stakeholder communication across the business.

Experience We Are Looking For

  • Operations domain expertise: 4+ years of experience delivering within large-scale payment/e-commerce operations with a focus on product/project management.

  • A product leader with experience in checkout/ e-commerce/ payments, at a B2C merchant.

  • Experienced in managing e-commerce payments with a focus on Customer experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of online payment flows, use cases, payment methods, app store policies & industry regulation.

  • A track record of interacting collaboratively with colleagues in tech and product domains.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and tactically execute.

  • Proven success as a user-focused Product Manager

  • Demonstrable analytical skills, having both individually & collaboratively made data-led decisions, navigating trade-offs in development where necessary.

  • A Degree in a quantitative field is a plus.

  • You are technically-minded with strong problem-solving skills to deliver a solution-oriented approach

  • You are able to digest high-level technical documentation into clear development requirements.

  • You have a solid understanding of A/B testing.
