Through telehealth services we are able to reach those in need, when and where they need it. As a community based start-up, our goal is to make quality mental health services accessible for all.

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Peer Support Specialist in Florida. The Peer Support Specialist will provide peer support services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders, offering guidance, encouragement, and assistance on their recovery journey. This role involves sharing personal experiences, providing emotional support, and empowering individuals to achieve their wellness goals. The Peer Support Specialist will work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team to promote recovery, reduce stigma, and enhance the overall well-being of clients.

  • Full-time W2 hourly position
  • Monday - Friday 10:00am-7:00pm schedule
  • All equipment provided

Qualifications:

  • Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and in recovery is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Florida Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) certification required with endorsement in Adult, Family, or Youth,
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and communication.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of recovery-oriented principles and practices in mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Commitment to promoting wellness, resilience, and self-determination among individuals served.
